Description
41 Victoria Street in Perth is a mid-19th century symmetrical pair of two-storey, four-bay semi-detached houses that together form an eight-bay terrace on a corner site. The exterior features squared and coursed rubble with contrasting painted margins, while the rear is constructed of rubble. There is a base course and an eaves cornice. Each house has a paired central doorpiece with pilasters and a cornice, and slightly advanced central gablets that break the eaves, each topped with small, round-arched slit windows at the apex. The entrance doors are made of timber with four panels and have rectangular fanlights above them.
At the rear, there are single-storey and attic extensions that include a kitchen and a later bathroom. The windows are a mixture of 12-pane and plated glass timber sash and case styles, and the roof is covered with grey slates. The property also features cast-iron rainwater goods.
Inside, the original room layout is largely intact, with simple cornicing and fireplace surrounds noted.
The boundary wall to the south is low with coping at the street, while number 45 has decorative iron railings.
