Description
Caputh Parish Church is a Gothic building dated 1798, constructed from rubble. It features a south T-plan aisle with a small tower added in 1865. The south aisle, apse, and general reconstruction and re-furnishing took place between 1914 and 1922, with architectural work by Granger Heiton. Inside, there is a mural monument by Sir Robert Lorimer, and the church includes a wood pulpit on a stone base and a good stone font. The apse has colorful glass designed by John Jennings from 1922, while the north side has a window by J & W Gothic and Andrew Wells for the south aisle east window, created by Abbey Studios around 1958, along with another window by Gordon Webster from 1964.
