Description

St Martins Parish Church was built in 1842 by Andrew Heiton Senior. It features a Gothic T-plan with octagonal elements at the corners and a bellcote. The church is faced with ashlar stone and includes a detached session house with a pyramid roof. Inside, the church has a well-preserved interior, which includes a pulpit with a double stair and a crocketed sounding board, as well as a 17th century mural memorial.
