Description
The Game Larder and Ice House at Invermay House is an early 19th-century structure, likely associated with Alexander Laing. The ice house is egg-shaped and may be referenced in late 18th-century account books. It features a circular design made of rubble with a rock-faced treatment, projecting stones, and a corbelled, crenellated parapet. The building has a Gothic-style doorpiece with a fanlight, flanked by two narrow Gothic windows. It is located on the eastern axis of the house.
