Description
Garvock House is a mansion with an irregular design that has been built at various times. It features an F-plan layout, with a low back wing that is likely from the 17th century, harled and having small chamfered openings. The main front is a two-storey, asymmetrical, plain late Georgian structure made of rubble with dressed stone and margins. It has an approximately central pediment and a porch with Doric columns that is placed asymmetrically, which has weathered over time. The house is dated 1826 at the southern end and includes a three-storey square tower to the north, along with a Jacobean-style northwest wing, also dated 1826. There are offices and a garden wall that adjoin the property.
