Description

Later 18th century. Rubble walled enclosure with stones of various dates; small remains of parish school at SE corner.

GRAVESTONES: re-sited and some re-carved. Variety of carved slabs and moulded apex stones including grave slab memorials to 'Donald McOmish, Innkeeper, Crieff, died 1775'; 'William Spottiswoode, died 1833'; slab with relief carved anchor and inscription 'Beneath this stone are deposited the remains of James Barlas, died 1815'. Upright stones include memorial with remains of winged skull 'Erected by Hugh Comrie Slater in Crieff in memory of his father who died January 1805'.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIERS: rubble boundary walls, some parts coped. Pyramidally-coped, square-section gatepier with decorative cast-iron gates to Church Street, similar piers without coping and with ironwork gate to Bank Street.
