Description

Burness House is a traditional building from the 18th century, featuring two and a half storeys. The exterior is harled, and it has a flagged roof with corbie steps. The house includes advanced wings that project outward, and the kitchen wing at the rear is a remnant of an earlier house, complete with an ingle-nook. There are also out-buildings located to the south and east of the main structure.
