Description
Binscarth House is a mid 19th century, two-storey house featuring Tudor details. The elevations are characterized by shallow advanced gables that have kneeler skewputts and finials, with one crow-stepped gable suggesting the incorporation of earlier work. The wall-head dormer heads are similarly detailed. The house is constructed of stone with ashlar dressings and has small-paned sash windows. The roofs are slated, and there are prominent chimney stacks with diamond flues. The entrance elevation has three bays, with an inner doorway that features a Renaissance-style pedimented head and two narrow lights above it. There is also a projecting ground floor window in the gable to the right.
