Description

Monkredding House is a large house dating from 1602, with later additions in 1638 and the early 19th century, and a further wing added in 1905. Originally an L-shaped house, it was substantially enlarged and re-oriented during the early 19th century, resulting in the present principal facade and a central entrance facing south. A wing was subsequently added to the rear of the house in 1905. One wing of the oldest part of the house features a vaulted lower floor.
