Description

1 Blairs Cottages at Blairs Home Farm in Altyre is a pair of short, single-storey terraces built in the later 19th century. The western section consists of two 3-bay cottages that have been converted into a single house, while the eastern section includes three 3-bay cottages and one 2-bay cottage, now functioning as two separate dwellings. The cottages are constructed from harled pointed rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. There are blocked doors and bipartite windows featuring unusual saltire glazing. The roofs are piended slate with coped ridge stacks.
