Description
Deveron House, built in 1801-1802, is a tall two-storey and attic house situated over a raised basement. The house features three bays and is harled. The central door on the south front is approached by a short flight of steps with a cast-iron handrail and is a double-leaf panelled door. There are two later piended dormers and four-pane glazing. The property has various rear extensions, including a narrow two-storey gabled block. The house has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
The steading consists of a single-storey U-plan structure with a south-facing court. It is constructed of harled pointed rubble with tooled rubble dressings and has a graded Tomintoul slate roof. There is a garage doorway inserted in the east-facing elevation.
Surrounding the house is a roughly coped rubble garden wall that encloses the garden area, with a pedestrian gate to the south leading to the church.
