6 Manse Street in Tain is an earlier 19th century house that stands two storeys high with an attic and features three bays. The building has a central door and is constructed of coursed rubble with harl pointing and tooled dressings. The ground floor has later bipartite windows, while the first floor east gable has a single window. There are two piended dormers on the roof, both retaining their original six-pane glazing. The house has end stacks and is topped with a slate roof.
