Description
Inverness Royal Academy, located at 42-44 Academy Street in Inverness, was built in 1792 and constructed from ashlar stone. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring nine bays with the end pairs set forward. The ground floor has been altered and was modified by Duncan Cameron in 1895 to include shopfronts with a central door. The building has a moulded eaves course and a slated roof, which includes a modern dormer.
