Description
32 Breadalbane Terrace in Wick is a terraced house designed by Thomas Telford around 1840. It is a two-storey, two-bay structure with a rectangular plan and features a harled exterior made of coursed Caithness stone slabs. The house has long and short quoins on the east side, projecting margins around the openings, and a regular arrangement of windows, although the rear is more irregular.
On the principal elevation facing north, there is a door on the left, which is adorned with a scalloped and scrolled pediment above both the door and the ground floor window. To the right, there is a modern canted dormer.
The interior was not seen in 2001. The house has plate glass tilt-and-turn windows, a roof covered with grey slates, and cast-iron rainwater goods.
