Description
63 Argyle Square is a semi-detached house built around 1840. It is a two-storey, two-and-a-half-bay structure with a rectangular plan and a gabled roof, facing west onto Argyle Square. The exterior is made of coursed Caithness stone slabs and features regular window arrangements on the front, while the rear has an irregular layout.
For No. 62, the principal elevation has a door on the right, a blocked pend in the center, and a window on the outer right that is shared with No. 63. The northwest side elevation has a blind gable end.
For No. 63, the principal elevation has a door on the left and a window on the outer left that is shared with No. 62. The southeast side elevation also has a blind gable end.
The interiors were not seen in 2001. The houses feature plate glass sash and case windows, grey slate roofs with lead flashing, coped gable stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods.
