Description

12-14 High Street in Rosemarkie is an earlier to mid-19th century house featuring a tall classical street facade that was added in the later 19th century. The facade is made of red sandstone ashlar and consists of five bays, with the center bay slightly advanced. It has a Roman Doric columnar doorpiece, which is flanked by enlarged shop windows, while the outer bays are slightly recessed. The building is topped with a cornice and parapet, and it has a slated roof that includes two modern dormers.
