Description

Circa 1850. Classical terrace of 2-storey and basement houses

with later attics. 28 bays arranged 3-3-3-5-3-3-3-5; 5-bay

blocks advanced, 2 houses to southern bays with doors in

outer bays; 1 house to northern bay with central door. Mainly

painted ashlar; openings in architraves, doors consoled cornices

at head of steps. No 21 altered ground floor; No 27 1st floor

windows apron panels and original glazing, the rest in terrace

altered. Eaves cornice, blocking course. Parapet to 5-bay

sections broken by dormers.
