Description
This building, located at 30, 32, and 34 Gibson Street in Glasgow, dates from around 1875 and consists of a four-storey range of tenements with modern shops on the ground floor, which is truncated at the east. The structure features three symmetrical blocks, each with seven bays, and a four-bay return elevation facing 89 Otago Street. The exterior is made of polished ashlar, with some areas having been stone cleaned. All windows are architraved, with cornices and consoles at the first floor and cornices at the second floor. The windows are primarily sash style with mostly four-pane glazing. There is a heavy string course above the ground floor, as well as a string course at the cills of the third floor and an eaves cornice. The building has wallhead and axial stacks and is topped with slate roofs.
