Description
This lamp standard, located at 40 Marywood Square in Glasgow, dates from around 1880 and was made by the Oak iron foundry. It features a cast-iron construction with a plinth, a tapering column, a cross-bar, and a lantern lamp. The plinth has geometric details, while the column is decorated with stylised foliage, reminiscent of the style of James Sellars.
