Description

This cast-iron lamp standard, dating from around 1880, is located at 23 Marywood Square in Glasgow. It was produced by the Oak Iron Foundry and features a plinth, a tapering column, a cross-bar, and a lantern lamp. The plinth has geometric detailing, while the column is adorned with stylized foliage, reflecting the style of James Sellars.
