Sauchiehall Street, 18, 19, 20 Westminster Terrace, Glasgow

This building, located at 21, 22, and 23 Westminster Terrace on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow, dates from around 1854. It is a three-storey and basement classical tenement with 25 bays. Each entrance is positioned at the top of steps that extend over the basement.

The structure is constructed of ashlar stone, with the basement featuring droved stonework, while the ground floor is channelled and has flat voussoirs. The entrances consist of alternating main doors and close entrances, each framed by Roman Doric pilastered doorpieces that have mutule cornices, inner pilasters, and fanlights. There is a band course at the ground floor, and cill bands at the first and second floors. All windows are sash and case, set in lugged architraves on the upper floors, with the first-floor windows featuring cornices. The building has an eaves cornice, a parapet, and corniced axial stacks. Additionally, there are cast-iron boundary railings surrounding the property.
