The building features polished ashlar stonework, with a channelled ground floor that is partly painted, and a droved ashlar basement. All windows are 4-pane sash and case, set within architraves, with corniced and bracketed designs on the first floor and corniced on the second floor. The roof is slate.

The elevation facing Sauchiehall Street consists of 42 bays, with the first six bays from the east being advanced. This section has a higher parapet and a modillion cornice across the first twelve bays. The ground floor features alternating pilastered main door entries and architraved, corniced close entries with fanlights, although some alterations have been made at this level.

The Gray Street elevation has 10 bays, with the second and third bays from the north being blind. It includes two architraved entries and a corniced wallhead stack, along with a gable stack.
