Description
This building, located at 1006A Pollokshaws Road in Camphill Gate, Glasgow, was designed by John Nisbet and completed in 1906. It is a symmetrical five-storey tenement featuring Art Nouveau ornamentation. The ground floor accommodates shops, while the upper levels are constructed of stone-cleaned red ashlar. The design includes canted window bays, with a wider pair at the center and turreted outer bays topped with domed roofs. The building has a flat roof, and iron railings are present over the wallhead. Some windows still retain their original glazing, and there are chimney stacks visible.
