Description
27 Fotheringay Road in Glasgow is a three-storey tenement building designed by H E Clifford around 1902. It features red ashlar stonework and incorporates modern movement details. The building has paired canted bays that are adorned with shared stone-corbelled balconies on the first floor, which extend above deep-bracketed eaves. There are flanking wall-head stacks with projecting caps, and a polygonal corner bay on the right topped with a slated dome. The close entrances have moulded frames, and the windows are sash style, with the upper sashes displaying a vertical glazing pattern. The roofs are covered with slate.
