Description

The equestrian statue of St George and the Dragon, created by J and G Mossman in 1897, was re-erected at St George's Cross in Glasgow in 1988. This statue was presented to the people of Glasgow by the Co-operative Society and was originally a piece of architectural sculpture. It is mounted on a railed ashlar plinth.
