This building, located at 136, 138, 140, 142, and 144 Nithsdale Road in Glasgow, was likely constructed in the 1870s or 1880s. It is a long three-storey terrace that features a curved eastern end, which forms a gushet leading into Kenmure Street, and a circular turretted western end facing Nithsdale Place. The terrace mainly consists of single window bays, with the ranges stepping to follow the slope of the land. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar, with parts that have been cleaned of stone. The ground floor contains shops, while the windows above are architraved, corniced at the first floor, and feature sashes, mostly with a four-pane glazing pattern. The building has an eaves course and cornice, with some wall-head stacks and dormers, all topped with slate roofs. The narrow flank facing Nithsdale Road is nearly symmetrical with the main wall area, which is shallow recessed. The short return elevation to Leven Street has outer bays but no doors.
