19 Glencairn Drive, Glasgow

43, 45, and 47 Glencairn Drive in Glasgow is a three-storey terrace building designed by Frank Burnet & Boston between 1895 and 1897, featuring classical architectural details. The exterior is made of stone-cleaned yellow ashlar, with a channelled finish at the base. It includes conical-roofed, curved bays, primarily located at every third bay, which showcase a giant order that extends to the full height of the upper two floors and includes dividing lights. Other windows are framed in bolection-moulded architraves, with long-and-short worked dressings on the second floor. The windows have plate glass sashes, and the building has corniced chimney stacks. The main roofs are covered with modern tiles. The close doors are large, bolection-moulded, key-stoned, and corniced. The pavement piers are circular in plan and feature an unusual strap detail, although the original iron railings have been removed.
