Description
This early 20th century memorial stone marks the site of the Bishop's Palace, which was demolished in 1792. It features a tapered granite plinth set on a stepped base. The stone is decorated with carved foliate panels that include the bishop's coat of arms, along with a bronze dedication plaque.
