Description
The statue of James Lumsden, located in Cathedral Square, Glasgow, was created by John Mossman in 1862. It is a bronze statue depicting James Lumsden, who lived from 1778 to 1856. Lumsden was a stationer, local benefactor, and served as Provost of Glasgow from 1843 to 1846. The statue is set on a stepped base made of pale pink granite, which features a Greek Key pattern on the plinth.
