772 Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow

This mid-19th century tenement block stands three stories tall and is part of a row of four similar buildings. The design features four closes arranged in a 7x5-bay layout, with two closes positioned side by side and the end tenements set at right angles. The building is in a late Georgian style, characterized by single window bays and a channelled ground floor, except at the shops located at either end. Above, the windows are framed with architraves and cornices at the first floor. The ends of the building are shallow and advanced, constructed of polished ashlar, with the southern half having been stone-cleaned. The tenement features sash windows and chimney stacks.
