59 Southpark Avenue, Glasgow

55 Southpark Avenue in Glasgow is a building that began construction in 1867-68. It features two storeys, a basement, and an attic, arranged as a terrace of three-bay houses. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar, with the ground floor channelled. Each house is pilastered, and the entrance doorpiece is located at the top of steps that oversail the basement area, with an architraved window above. The three northern houses mirror the three southern houses.

At the first floor, there are three-light oriel windows supported by dentilled corbels. The windows are sash and case with plate glass. A balustraded parapet sits over the cornice, which bows over the oriels. The gabled dormers include one at No. 59 that has a segmental head. The building features tall, corniced chimney stacks and is complemented by cast-iron railings and piers, along with a coped boundary wall.

The rear elevation is constructed of snecked rubble with droved ashlar canted bays.
