Description
Kincaple House is a building that dates back to 1789, as indicated by the skew-ends inscribed with "Alexander Meldrum 1789". It features two storeys, a basement, and an attic, with a three-window layout. The entrance is marked by a pedimented Roman Doric column porch. The house has very broad skews and is harled with margins, topped with a slated roof.
The advanced wings were added by J Donald Mills in 1928. These wings are two storeys high with a two-window design and have piend roofs. They include flat-roofed, one-window links and are approximately symmetrical to the front, although the southeast wing is designed in an L-plan.
