Description

The Cross Jubilee Lamp, located at the junction of High Street, Cross Street, and Victoria Street in Dysart, was built in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. This cast-iron lamp features a polygonal plinth and an ogee-topped shaft that displays a relief portrait bust of Queen Victoria along with the dates '1837' and '1887' on the west face. It has a decorative cornice and a narrow second stage topped with a crested lantern and neck brackets.
