Rose Cottage is an early 19th century single-storey cottage with a two-window front and a central door. It is constructed of coursed rubble with droved dressings, and has a modern tile roof. The listing recognizes the group value of the cottage, and applies to both its interior and exterior. The statutory address is Rose Cottage (Miss Scott) including garden walls.
