Description

South View, located on Main Street and South Wynd in Colinsburgh, is a pair of early 19th-century houses. The Main Street elevation is of plain ashlar construction and displays a three-window classical design. A doorway, originally on the Main Street frontage, has since been blocked. The gable facing South Wynd is harled and has a pantiled roof with slate skirting. A harled wing with a three-window arrangement also extends along South Wynd and features a pantiled roof with slate skirting. The listing acknowledges the building's group value, reflecting its importance within the wider context of Colinsburgh, and applies to both the internal and external elements of the building.
