Description
This is a mid-18th century walled garden, originally double-walled. The southern garden has been partly incorporated into the stables and other structures and is now represented only by the west and parts of the south walls. The northern garden remains intact. The walls are constructed of boulder rubble with a flagged coping.
A tower stands at the southwest corner of the southern garden. It is a two-storey structure with a steep stone slated pyramidal roof topped with a ball finial. The west front features a forestair leading to a door on the first floor. A window is present on the north side, while other openings are blocked. The ragged roofline on the south side suggests the tower was formerly part of a larger architectural complex.
The walled garden and tower are part of a group of buildings with Blebo House and related structures.
