Description
This building at 76-78 High Street in Earlsferry dates from around 1880 and is designed in a similar style to nearby structures. It is a two-storey building constructed with hammer-dressed coursers, featuring stugged and polished ashlar dressings. The façade has three windows.
On the left side, there was a former shop with a central door and two windows. The openings are shouldered and moulded, topped with a continuous entablature. To the right of the central door is a window with a moulded lintel, framed by moulded brackets that support a corbelled canted three-light oriel bay above. There is a band course at the first floor level. The first floor features a bipartite window on the left and a single central light. The roof is slated, with straight skews that have moulded ends and corniced stacks.
