Description
Macintosh Hall, located at 9 Abbotsford Crescent in St Andrews, was begun in 1865 and designed by John Chesser. This classic building features three storeys and an attic, constructed from ashlar stone with a channelled ground floor. The buildings at numbers 9, 10, and 11 have arched doorways supported by consoles. Abbotsford House, built in 1869, includes a porch with a pediment and coupled Ionic columns. The attics have been significantly remodelled and are covered with slate.
