Description

Balmore is a large Italianate mansion built in the 1860s. It features two storeys and has an asymmetrical design, highlighted by a three-storey tower topped with a pyramid roof. The entrance hall is single-storey and channelled, with a porch supported by Ionic columns. Most of the windows are 2-light, although the central north window has been altered. The mansion has a broad-eaved roof covered with slate and includes metal acroters.
