Description

The Railway Goods Shed in Cupar was built in 1847 for the Edinburgh and Northern Railway. This structure features a long arcade of cart openings at ground level, with part of the building being single storey and part rising to three additional storeys. The upper levels have flat-lintelled single windows arranged in regular bays, with a composition of five by two bays. The windows have six-pane glazing, and the building retains most of its gabled slate roof. It is constructed from rubble with ashlar dressing.
