Description
The War Memorial Hall on Anstruther Road in Ceres was originally built in 1798 as a Relief Meeting House. It was later converted into a hall, with a porch added to the northwest gable in 1920. The building is a plain, two-window gabled rectangle, featuring harled walls and moulded skew ends with small scroll urn finials. The windows have been reglazed in the 19th century. There is a small session house attached, which includes a modern addition on the southeast gable, and a further addition was made in 1972.
