Description

This is a small, late 18th century vaulted changing room, part of the Lady’s Tower at Saucher Point, Elie Ness. The chamber features rustic pendant voussoirs and a boss, along with rock-hewn seats. It was constructed as a dressing room for Lady Anstruther during bathing. The tower is shown as a ruin on the 1855 Ordnance Survey map and is grouped with Elie House. Millar's "Fife Pictorial and Historical" (1895) provides further details.
