Description

Southgait Hall, located on South Street in St Andrews, was built in 1857, likely designed by architect George Rae. The building features three stories and a mansard roof. The original section has six windows, while a matching addition built in 1894 has three windows. Notable architectural details include a Roman Doric column doorpiece and decorative first-floor window surrounds that are linked by straps at half their height.
