Description
112A South Street in St Andrews is a 2-storey and attic, 2-bay house. The ground floor dates from the 18th century, while the first floor and attic were added in the late 19th century by David Henry of St Andrews. The building features rubble sandstone with ashlar dressings on the ground floor, and the upper floors are harled with ashlar quoins and painted window margins. It has a slate roof.
The ground floor includes a chamfered door and window, while the first floor has a bipartite window. The attic features two cast-slide dormer-headed windows. There is a round-headed door on the ground floor at the courtyard elevation, and a forestair leading to the door on the first floor.
The courtyard is formed by the rear of 114 South Street, a boundary wall to 116 South Street, and a rubble wall with a lintelled doorway leading to a close.
The interior has not been seen.
