101-107 High Street, Burntisland

101-107 High Street in Burntisland is a mid-19th century building with late 19th century alterations and additions. It is a three-storey, two-bay shop with dwellings above, featuring a gable end facing the street and situated within an irregular terrace. The shop front and entrance to the tenement pend have painted cement surrounds, while the upper section is made of stone-cleaned ashlar with stone mullions and margins.

On the south elevation facing High Street, there is a deep-set shop door located to the left of centre, flanked by windows in the adjacent bays. Above the shop, there is an awning and a pulvinated fascia board that incorporates a corbel supporting a canted oriel above. To the right of the shop door is a pend door with a bipartite fanlight. The first and second floors feature a full-height later canted oriel on the left, with panelled aprons, a cornice, and a blocking course, and a window to the right.

The ground floor has fixed plate glass glazing, while the upper floors have plate glass glazing in sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slates, and the building has ashlar coped skews with raised ashlar dies to angled skewputts, which may be flue-bearing, and a coped gable finial.
