Description

This is an early 19th-century cottage located on St Andrews Road, Barnyards, near Kilconquhar. It is a very small, single-story building constructed of whin-rubble with freestone dressings, and has a pantiled roof. The front elevation, originally with two windows and a central door, now features a window where the door once was. The gable facing the road has two windows. The listing acknowledges the building’s group value, meaning it is valued for its contribution to the surrounding area, and applies to both the interior and exterior.
