Description

Mansefield, located at 17 Kirk Brae in Ceres, was built in 1788. It is a plain L-shaped building that is two stories high and has three windows, although the central door has been converted into a window. The exterior is made of ashlar stone, featuring raised quoins and a cavetto eaves course. There is a single-storey wing with a piended roof that was added later, which connects to two-storey offices built by Hugh Birrell in 1849.
