Description
9 Park Place in Elie is a row of pleasant two-storey houses built in the later 19th century. The buildings are constructed of rubble with long-and-short ashlar dressings, most of which are painted, featuring stop-chamfered margins. Each house, except for number 9, has a door that was originally panelled, accompanied by a rectangular fanlight above. The doors at numbers 5, 7, and 15 have been altered, and the door at number 7 has lost its right jamb. Each house also features a window and a bipartite window above, all set within a steeply pitched gable adorned with barge boards. Number 9 has only a door and a bipartite window above. The windows are 2-pane sashes. The roofs are slated, with brick stacks that have ashlar dressings, while the sections shared with numbers 15 and 17 are harled. There are single-storey rear outshots.
