This is an early 19th-century hall house and sawmill situated at Lindsay Hall, Barnyards. The house is a single-storey structure with an attic containing dormers, featuring rubble walls with margins and a pantiled roof. Attached to the north gable is an outbuilding, and a workshop wing extends from the south. The listing recognises the building’s group value, applicable to both the interior and exterior.
