Description
Smuggler's Inn is a building that dates from the late 16th century and has been significantly extended in the 18th and early 19th centuries. It features a two-storey design with a semicircular stair tower that transitions to a square shape. The entrance includes a Roman Doric pilastered porch and doorpiece, along with a semi-elliptical pend arch. The exterior is finished in whitewashed stucco with painted margins, and the roof is slated, with the western part covered in pantiles and slate skirting, as well as slated dormers. This building was formerly a coaching inn.
